A Rockland County man has been arrested in connection with two commercial burglaries targeting laundry room machines at residential complexes, authorities said.
Cory Cordero, age 48, of Garnerville, was arrested following an investigation into two burglaries that occurred in Garnerville and Haverstraw, the Haverstraw Police Department announced on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Police said the incidents involved the theft of money collection and change machines located in the laundry rooms of two separate apartment buildings, which were not identified.
Cordero was located on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Stony Point, where he was taken into custody and transported to the Haverstraw Police Department for processing.
He was charged with multiple counts of burglary, grand larceny, and criminal mischief, police said. After his arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
