The US Government has been shut down for weeks, and now, in an update from Sunday (November 9), the pathway has been forged for a way to get to a re-opening.
Eight Senators from the Democratic caucus voted with the Republicans, breaking with the Democrats, to advance legislation to bring an end to the shutdown.
