Plans to create almost 50 new homes on a former school site in Glasgow’s east end have been given the green light.
Glasgow City Council has approved Milnbank Housing Association’s application for the old Haghill Primary School on Marwick Street, which closed in 2002.
The project will see the former janitor’s house refurbished to provide one home, while some original features from the now demolished school have been retained to be included in the development.
In total, 48 homes are planned on the land, with 43 flats and four townhouses. A site plan shows 28 car parking spaces will be provided.
