(FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego's professional soccer teams faced mixed results in their respective league playoff matches against clubs from Portland on Sunday.

In Major League Soccer, San Diego FC beat the Portland Timbers 4-0 to finish the best-of-3 series and advance to the single-game Western Conference semifinals, where they'll take on Minnesota United.

SDFC forwards Anders Dreyer and Amahl Pellegrino each scored two goals against the Timbers.

The team's historic first season continues to reach new heights, with the upcoming semifinal match taking place at home on Monday, Nov. 24.

The Western Conference's other semifinal match will be between Vancouver Whitecaps FC and LAFC on Nov. 22.
