Edinburgh bus passengers who were involved in a collision in the city will be pursuing legal action, it has been confirmed.

At around 11.15am on Monday, November 3, a Lothian double-decker was involved in a crash on Calder Road in Sighthill . Five people were hospitalised, while all 11 onboard were checked over by paramedics after the vehicle collided with a telecommunications mast.

Thompsons Solicitors have since said passengers onboard have been touch and are ready to pursue legal action 'as soon as possible'.

Images of the aftermath of the smash showed the bus at the side of the road with severe damage to the front of the vehicle. Both the front windscreen and the top front window of the double decker bus are smashed.
