Springlike temperatures return Veterans Day afternoon, with highs climbing into the mid- to upper 60s through Thursday. The warmest surge arrives Friday, when highs soar into the mid-70s.

The warmer, more humid air will set the stage for a weekend cold front that may bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, followed by a drop in temperatures and rain chances on Sunday.

Unfortunately, these temperature swings are likely to be accompanied by large pressure changes, leading to increased aches and pains.
