CORALVILLE, Iowa — The Iowa Women’s Foundation says tt awarded $400,000 in grants to 13 organizations across Iowa during its Annual Luncheon. These grants aim to support programs that help women and girls achieve economic self-sufficiency. The Foundation says its mission is supported by five pillars: grantmaking, research, education, advocacy, and collaboration. This year’s grant recipients include: Anchored Hope – Ames Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque – Dubuque Dress for Success Des Moines – Urbandale Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council – Dubuque Family Resources – Davenport House of Hope – Waterloo Johnson County Affordable Housing – Iowa City Lead(h)er - Davenport Moravia Community School District – Moravia Native American
