A cool Plano-based ice cream shop will soon bring its international flavors to San Antonio. Ked's Artisan Ice Cream and Treats is opening its first Alamo City parlor in the Stone Oak Shops at 19239 Stone Oak Pkwy #106.

Ked's got its start in 2009 as Old Town Creamery before expanding to Plano and rebranding to reflect a broadened menu of crepes, bubble waffles, and boba teas. Not to be confused with the canvas shoe brand of the same name, the shop is named after founder Hussain "Ked" Kedwaii.
