PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man accused of shooting and killing a woman before turning the gun on himself at a Phoenix home last month has been released from medical care and turned over to police custody.
David Theodore Pregler, 55, was booked into the Maricopa County jail on Sunday on several felony counts, including second-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person.
The charges stem from what Phoenix police describe as a domestic violence incident that happened just after 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. That Halloween evening, police responded to a shooting in the area of 89th and Indianola avenues , just south of Indian School Road.
