EXCLUSIVE: Morgan Neville , the Oscar, Emmy and Grammy-winning documentarian behind films like 20 Feet from Stardom and Won’t You Be My Neighbor? , has signed with Cinetic for representation in directing.

In a statement to Deadline, Cinetic’s Founder & CEO John Sloss said, “We are thrilled to be in business with Morgan. He is by any measure a world-class storyteller who until now has dedicated his talents to documentaries. Our goal is to amplify those pursuits and help facilitate his inevitable expansion into scripted storytelling.”

Neville won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, as well as the Grammy for Best Music Film, for his 2014 film 20 Feet from Stardom , which looked at backup singers who’ve supported some of the biggest names in music but never gotten the spotligh
