HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Gibson County Visitors and Tourism Bureau reminds people next Friday is the deadline to enter the Christmas parade, and this year's theme is "An Out of This World Christmas."

Event organizers say the magic of Christmas is coming to downtown Princeton on December 6 at 5 p.m. with the annual Princeton Christmas Parade, which will have a sci-fi twist.

The parade will kick off at 5 p.m., winding through downtown Princeton. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, bring blankets and hot cocoa and enjoy the atmosphere. Participants and sponsors are invited to join the fun by signing up online.

A spokesperson says, "Whether you’re entering a float, volunteering or sponsoring the event, your participation will help make the holiday season shine even brighter."
