Country Thunder Alberta has announced the rescheduling of its 10th anniversary festival to June 26-28, moving it from its original dates of August 15-17. The change aims to create an early summer celebration of country music, according to a news release from the festival organizers. "Moving the festival to June lets us kick off a summer full of unforgettable music, honoring the history we’ve built here while giving fans an early chance to experience all the energy and excitement that makes Calgary such a special place for country music," said Country Thunder CEO Troy Vollhoffer. Tickets that have already been purchased will be valid for the new dates. Attendees who cannot make it to the rescheduled festival can request a full refund by November 24 through a designated refund form. In early December, organizers plan to announce the lineup of performers for next year’s festival. Past editions of Country Thunder have featured prominent country artists such as Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw. The festival is held at Confluence Park in Calgary. For those unable to attend in person, Country Thunder tickets are available for purchase online. Additionally, fans can stream live shows and events through VEEPS, a music-focused streaming service now available in Canada. This year’s rescheduling reflects the festival's commitment to providing an exciting experience for country music fans while adapting to changing circumstances.
