ROMULUS, MI — Around 90 flights at Detroit Metropolitan Airport were cancelled Monday as the federal government shutdown impacting air traffic controllers continues.

As of noon Nov. 10, 39 flights departing from the Detroit-area airport were cancelled, according to data from FlightAware. Another 52 set to land at the airport were also cancelled.

The airport is also experiencing numerous delays, with around 130 flights delayed Monday.

Those numbers are changing by the minute.

Thirty-nine flights at DTW, including 21 departures, are expected to be canceled Tuesday, Nov. 11, according to FlightAware. No delays have been scheduled yet.
