BELLA VISTA -- A Bella Vista utility worker who was struck along Lancashire Boulevard near Burton Lane on Friday has died, according to his family.

The family confirmed the man's identity as 30-year-old James "Keaton" Lawson. The incident occurred Nov. 7 along Lancashire Boulevard near Burton Lane, where Lawson was struck while directing traffic, according to the Bella Vista Police Department.

He was hospitalized following the collision, and his family confirmed Lawson passed away Saturday.

The family requests privacy at this time and asks for prayers for Lawson's surviving daughter and loved ones. A close family friend has created a GoFundMe to support his family . It had raised $7,089 of an $8,000 goal by noon Monday.
