The first week of the 2025-26 college basketball season is a wrap, with few surprises and a limited number of games featuring Power 5 matchups.
Duke (2-0), Louisville (2-0) and UNC (2-0) remain atop the league as the teams ranked in several top-25 polls. But the Blue Devils, Tar Heels and Virginia Tech (2-0) were the only squads in the 18-team league to play high-major opponents in the opening week of the season.
