SIKESTON, Mo. (WSIL) -- Point 27, a global nonprofit, recently honored fallen Sikeston Department of Public Safety Police Officer Henry Franklin, who was killed on October 6 while serving a warrant with his tactical team in Mississippi County.

Point 27 sent Thin Blue Line Shields of Strength dog-tag necklaces to the Missouri DPS Office for Officer Franklin’s partner and fellow officers, inscribed with Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” His family received Keepsake Folded Flag Pendant Necklaces with John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
