JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Eastbound I-94 is closed following a crash at Sargent Road on Monday, Nov. 10.
Since 11:17 a.m., all eastbound traffic has been shut down after a semitrailer tipped onto its side. The semi was carrying two gravel trailers, causing both lanes to be shut down, Blackman-Leoni Township Department of Public Safety Director Darin McIntosh said.
Public safety and Jimmies Towing are working diligently to have the gravel cleared from the highway as soon as possible, but he said it could impact traffic for a couple of hours.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, he said. No serious injuries have been reported.
