The government shutdown is finally over! I’m happy that the government workers, military and SNAP recipients will finally have what they need to survive. But for me, this shows that the entire Republican Party doesn’t care about the regular people that voted them into office.

The Republicans refused to meet with the Democrats to work out a compromise so the Republicans wouldn’t have to feed the hungry, care for the sick, or vote on releasing the Epstein files. They claim that all this destruction is good for the future of our country, but that is a bold face lie. Their entire agenda is to destroy the middle class and continue to enrich the people that bribe them.
