While much of the discussion about the Lakers’ injuries has centered on Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves and LeBron James, they aren’t the only ones who have missed time.
Gabe Vincent opened the season (controversially) in the starting lineup before suffering an injury midway through the third game of the season. That sprained ankle against the Kings has had him sidelined since with an initial timeline of 2-4 weeks until his return.
On Saturday, head coach JJ Redick provided an update on Gabe Vincent — despite saying there was no update — in which he noted that he was still on pace to return in that 2-4 week window.
That’s a lot of information for no update!
Really, the “no update” part probably means there’s no medical update, just plenty of other stuff.
