Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin stirred national conversation earlier in the college football season when he told ESPN in October that "in my opinion, the dynasties are over."
Kiffin pointed to roster turnover, an expanded SEC, and a future with nine league games that will make dominant, long-term runs harder to sustain, specifically calling out the era of Alabama under Nick Saban and Georgia under Kirby Smart.
On Monday, the conversation took a turn when Texas coach Steve Sarkisian was asked about Kiffin’s remarks during a press conference and offered a sharp response : "(Lane) says a lot," a line reported via CJ Vogel of On Texas Football.
