Authorities have announced the cause of death for an Ohio State University student whose body was found inside the school’s stadium .

William Meyers, 19, died by suicide at the stadium from a jump on Sept. 26, according to an autopsy report from the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, obtained by PEOPLE.

On Sept. 26, at 9:56 a.m. local time, fire officials in Columbus, where Ohio Stadium is located, first responded to a call to the scene, The Columbus Dispatch reported .
