GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

The Greenville County SWAT team responded to a home in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, on Monday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m., an officer with the Fountain Inn Police Department spotted a person, who had active arrest warrants, in the driveway of a house on Case Lane.

According to police, the officer approached the individual and told him that he was under arrest. The man placed a hand in his waistband as he ran into the house.

The police department requested the assistance of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office SWAT team since the man barricaded himself inside the home. Officers believe no one else is inside the home.

Officers have not released any additional information.
