MICHIGAN, USA — The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has directed its SNAP vendor to resume issuing full benefits to Michigan recipients following a temporary disruption and in accordance with a federal order which came down last week.
SNAP recipients who normally receive their benefits on the ninth of the month should receive their full allotment within 48 hours, while all other recipients should receive full benefit payments on their normally scheduled date. Those who receive monthly benefits on the third, fifth and seventh of the month had already received their benefits last week.
