Ann Arbor — Playoff mode has been engaged and ready to fire, Michigan players said Monday as they prepare for their final three regular-season games, must-wins for the Wolverines to have a shot at making the College Football Playoff field.

Michigan (7-2, 5-1 Big Ten) joins USC as the only two-loss Big Ten teams with chances at the playoff if they win out. Ohio State and Indiana are unbeaten and nationally ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, and have staked their playoff claims.
