MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some passengers at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport are experiencing delays and cancelations as a result of the government shutdown.

According to FlightAware, more than 30 flights have been canceled and more than 40 delayed at the Milwaukee airport as of Monday afternoon, Nov. 10.

Airports across the country are continuing to reduce services due to staffing shortages for air traffic controllers, TSA agents, and other essential airport staff.

"If you're working without a paycheck, that motivation goes down," said traveler Scott Brenner. "Whether it's TSA, whether it's FAA, you do have some challenges.
