A small plane headed to Jamaica for Hurricane Melissa relief efforts crashed into a waterway in Coral Springs, Florida , on Monday (November 10). The Beech B100 aircraft went down at approximately 10:19 a.m. behind homes in the Windsor Bay neighborhood, according to the National Transportation Safety Board and the Coral Springs Fire Department.

The plane, registered to International Air Services, Inc. in Carson City, Nevada, was en route to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The crash occurred about five minutes after takeoff from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured, and no houses were hit, but it remains unclear how many people were on board or if there were any casualties.
