TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A teenager has been arrested in connection with the shooting at a parking lot near Taylorsville High School on Friday.
According to a press release from Taylorsville Police, they arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of shooting a 14-year-old boy in a fast-food restaurant parking lot near the school. The victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened shortly after 12 p.m. on Friday, and police officers were dispatched to a fight in progress at the parking lot at the McDonald's at 5571 S Redwood Road. Witnesses reported that as many as 20 teenagers were fighting and
