River Bend Food Bank to distribute food boxes on Veteran’s Day

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - The River Bend Food Bank will hand out emergency food boxes on Veteran’s Day.

The boxes are first-come, first-serve and are meant to provide hunger-relief as the government shutdown and SNAP disruption continues, according to a media release.

People can come get one food box per household from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the SouthPark Mall Pantry site near the Von Maur entrance in Moline, officials said.
