AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Health experts are reaching out to people in rural areas with a mobile health clinic, bringing essential medical services directly to underserved communities.

The East Central Health District mobile unit was at Diamond Lakes on Monday. The unit serves Richmond, Columbia, Burke and other rural Georgia counties.

Residents can receive primary care screenings, vaccines, diabetes management and additional health services through the mobile clinic program.
