Topline:
Snowfall: When the rain arrives on Thursday, snow levels will be around 9,000 feet (above resort level), but will fall to around 6,000 feet as the colder part of the storm moves in late Thursday into Friday.
A tale of two temperatures: While the South Bay was socked in with fog today, highs approached 90 in some inland parts of Southern California. It's going to gradually cool off starting Tuesday, until temperatures hit the 60s on Thursday. They'll climb back into the low 70s through the weekend as dry weather returns.
Long term: Santa Ana winds could return early next week, though the forecast is still a bit uncertain. They're unlikely to bring temperatures as warm as what we've been experiencing.
