Houston Mayor John Whitmire is inviting the public to join the city in honoring the brave men and women who have fought and sacrificed for our liberty and freedom at the City of Houston Veterans Day Parade and Program on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 .

The annual “Houston Salutes American Heroes Veterans Day Celebration” will feature Sgt. Major Angela Maness, U.S. Marine Corps, Retired , as the keynote speaker. Sgt. Major Maness devoted 30 years to active-duty service, holding roles as an Administrator, Drill Instructor, Range Coach, and training Officer Candidate School candidates in Quantico, Virginia.
