The administration of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is less than two months away from walking into City Hall.

The mayor-elect has mere weeks to assemble his administration to ensure a smooth transition into his new role.

Mamdani announced his transition team last week. On Monday, he announced the first appointments to his administration.

Ed Skyler, the former deputy mayor for operations under the administration of Michael Bloomberg and current head of enterprise services and public affairs at Citibank, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about what challenges Mamdani may face on Jan. 1.
