Some top lawmakers in the U.S. Senate have asked the Trump Administration to put protections in place to ensure Big Tech companies don’t cause an energy crisis using artificial intelligence data centers.
Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal, along with two others, penned a letter to U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, about the issue.
