Andy Aguilar-Amaya, 21, has been convicted of first-degree felony murder and robbery for the killing of 26-year-old Gene Fayga Martin.

According to investigators, Aguilar-Amaya met with the victim on the night of Oct. 21 on Beach Road in Glen Burnie, intending to rob the victim of drugs and cash.

Investigators believe it was during that robbery that Aguilar-Amaya shot the victim twice.

When police arrived, they found Fayga Martin lying in the roadway in front of his 2016 Acura Sedan, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
