NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WFSB) - How did New Britain Police find Jonatan Nanita, the man accused of killing 11 year old Jacqueline Torres-Garcia?

The I-Team first brought you video of Nanita’s arrest on Friday, after requesting the records from New Britain Police. Other documents obtained by the I-Team detail the steps police took to find Nanita.

Nanita is accused of starving 11-year-old Jacqueline Torres-Garcia to death, and covering it up, along with her mother Karla Garcia and her aunt, Jackelyn Garcia, also charged in the case.

The Medical Examiner’s Office confirms that Jacqueline Torres-Garcia, known as “Mimi,” officially died from fatal child abuse caused by starvation.
