Weather Aware Tonight: Freezing and Record-Low Temperatures Freeze Warning in effect until 9 AM Tuesday for all of Central Alabama
Winds will begin to settle this evening as temperatures continue to fall. We will be below freezing by 10 PM. Tonight will be very cold, ending the growing season. Expect clear skies with record lows in the upper teens to the mid-20s. Protect plants and pets! Find ways to stay warm. The record low in Birmingham is 25°, set back in 1926.
