CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Heavy delays are reported early Wednesday evening along Interstate 64 in Charleston due to weather-related crashes, Metro 911 reports.

Just after 5:30 p..m., there was a crash reported in the eastbound lanes near the Oakwood Road exit. That is near the 58-mile-marker.

Minutes prior to that, the slow lane of I-64 West near the Kanawha Turnpike exit was affected by a crash.

According to Metro 911, there are multiple accidents on both Interstate 64 and Interstate 77 due to slick roads. Drivers are asked to limit travel as much as possible.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
