According to the organizers, this Veterans Day initiative aims to restore riparian natural areas, enhancing community and nature. The event is family-friendly and will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves, water, and wear closed-toe shoes. While RSVPs are appreciated, they are not required. Those interested in signing up can contact Joe Waksmundski, Natural Areas and Trees Volunteer Coordinator, at (541) 799-5105.
