The winner for last week’s SouthCoast Boys Athlete of the Week poll was Wareham’s John Varden. Varden received more than 44% of the vote to earn the honor.

In a pair of games against Atlantis Charter and South Shore, Varden had a combined 14 saves.

Previous winners were GNB Voc-Tech’s Chase Alves, Apponequet’s PJ George, Lucas Beauregard, New Bedford’s Jayden Derosa, Old Rochester’s Owen Harrington and Bishop Stang’s AJ Pickering, Jake Fernandes and Nolan Ciszewski.
