ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri Department of Transportation is making safety improvements to a section of outer road in Warren County.

In the last two weeks, there have been three rollover crashes close to mile marker 195 in Truesdale, near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Heritage Landing Drive.

In each of the three crashes, vehicles, often tractor-trailers, have lost control on nearby Interstate 70, flipped over and slid across the outer road.

“Right now this is unacceptable,” said State Representative Tricia Byrnes, who has worked with MODOT to improve interstate signage and safety within I-70 construction zones in Wentzville.
