Akasa Air is entering 2025 with confidence, as the airline continues to deepen its domestic network, expand global routes, and capture a rising share of corporate travellers. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Praveen Iyer, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Akasa Air, said FY24 has already shaped up to be one of the airline’s strongest years, and the outlook for the coming year remains equally robust.

"We are just getting started. The performance of our international network, which began nearly 18 months ago, has been encouraging," Iyer said. The airline now operates around 30 weekly departures to Jeddah, and has also been awarded Hajj charter operations, which are expected to commence in the first quarter of the next financial year.
