OMAHA, Neb. —

Despite TSA and Air Traffic Control staffing shortages, passengers at Eppley Airfield are getting home without issue.

"Yeah, we were supposed to get here a little earlier, but no, we got here on time," Tasha Young said.

She flew out of Las Vegas Monday morning, and she says everything went smoothly. The only concerns she heard about were layovers.

"Most people were scared if they had a stop, but my father and my cousin, they had stops and they got home before me," Young said.

Even people with connecting flights were fine. Josie Stucky flew in from Seattle and caught a connection in Denver.

"I had a layover in Denver, and that also seemed fully staffed, like lots of carts driving around and everything," Stucky said.
