SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Runners are set to lace up, dress up and add a dash of color all to raise money for the animals and the kids this weekend.
The Color Me Mutt 5K is this week in Sevierville. You’ll want to dress you and your pet for the run, or if you just want to walk, there’s a one mile walk you can take with your pet.
All of this is to raise money for Safe Harbor and Sevier Animal Care Center.
The race starts Saturday morning at 8:30 at NASCAR Speedpark.
“The race is Nov. 15, and we’re looking for as many runners as possible. We’d like to see 150 or greater. The more money we raise, the more money we can donate to the good causes we’re raising money for,” said Nathanael Fuller with NASCAR Speedpark.
