Mater Dei All-County basketball player Kaeli Wynn has committed to South Carolina, the senior announced on social media and ESPN on Monday.

The 6-foot-1 forward narrowed her choices to South Carolina and Stanford.

Last season, South Carolina finished as the NCAA Division 1 runner-up to UConn. Led by legendary coach Dawn Staley, the Gamecocks won national championships in 2024, 2022 and 2017.

Wynn averaged 17 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists last season for Mater Dei, which won the Trinity League and reached the Open Division in the CIF-SS and SoCal regional playoffs.

Her season was derailed in late January by a dislocated knee cap.
