SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — On November 8, a confrontation between two women turned violent.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Columbia Street to investigate an aggravated battery.

During the investigation, officers came to believe that Genevieve Capella struck another woman in the head with a glass alcohol bottle during a dispute.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a laceration to her head.

Capella was arrested for aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
