JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark. — Grief and outrage are mounting for one mother following her son’s death after an incident at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Facility over the weekend.
Authorities with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 24-year-old Darrion Williams and 22-year-old Jonathan Harris were killed Saturday in what they described as a targeted attack.
Four detainees, 24-year-old Darnell Ford, 25-year-old Terencio Wyrick, 24-year-old Kamaren Wainwright and 21-year-old Kedrick Love, have been charged with capital murder and use of a weapon by an incarcerated person. All four were already in custody for unrelated charges, including murder, aggravated assault, robbery and weapons violations.
