MEMPHIS, Tenn. - As temperatures begin to drop an emergency warming center is opening in preparation tonight.

The center will be open on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 p.m. until Tuesday, November 11, at 8:00 a.m.

The hospitality hub will be located at First Baptist Church on the NE corner of Poplar and East Parkway (200 East Parkway North). They are asking guest to use the entrance on Poplar.

Single women, men, families and couples will all be able to come to the location.

Sack meals and blankets will be provided to guests while supplies last.

Guests must check in upon arrival, but IDs aren't required.

If you are in need of transportation to the warming centers, MATA will be transporting guests. You can contact 901-486-0939 for operation services.
