The Lake County Historical Society and Museum invites the community to a special celebration honoring the life and legacy of Hollywood stuntman Kim Kahana on Saturday, November 15, at 2 pm.
A longtime resident of Groveland, Kahana lived an extraordinary life both on and off the screen. His career as a stuntman, actor, and stunt coordinator spanned decades, with credits in numerous Hollywood films and television productions. Known for his daring spirit, skill, and dedication to his craft, Kahana’s work helped shape the golden era of stunt performance.
Among his many credits: doubling for Charles Bronson for more than 20 years, performing stunts in films such as Planet of the Apes and Smokey and the Bandit II, and appearing on TV shows including Danger Island (as “Chongo”)
