Detroit — The NBA announced on Monday afternoon that Detroit Pistons ' Cade Cunningham has received the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award. Cunningham led the Pistons to a 4-0 record, amid averages of 30.0 points per game on 54.7% shooting, 9.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds.

Although he scored a season-high 34 points in the Pistons' win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday , his best performance came during Detroit's 111-108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night . He scored 26 points at Xfinity Mobile Arena, with 24 coming in the second half. This was the second time in Cunningham's career that he received Player of the Week honors.
