WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Health insurance premiums are climbing sharply across Kansas, forcing some families to rethink how they’ll afford coverage next year — and prompting community clinics to prepare for more uninsured patients seeking care.
Wichita hairstylist and small business owner Ashli Brooks says her family’s monthly payment through the Affordable Care Act will jump from $332 to nearly $1,500 in 2025.
